Peacemaking and Healing Initiative

Through our 13 years of fostering collective leadership in communities nationwide, we have learned that people often need healing before they can build trust and relationships that help further their goals. Our premise for this Initiative is simple: as individuals and organizational leaders become healthier, they can connect in healthier partnerships to work collectively on making systems more effective in serving communities.

In order to promote healthier communities, many traditional systems need to be transformed. The Center supports leadership development with both individuals and organizations to this end, by nurturing relationships that are necessary for systemic change. With Peacemaking Circles, the Center guides leaders towards a healthier self and a healthier community.
