Building Leadership Capacity for Creative Conflict
Friday March 16, 2018
1:00-4:30pm
$60

This workshop takes a deeper dive into the Gracious Space element of “Inviting the Stranger” to examine our relationship to difference, power differentials and conflict, and explores leadership practices for peacemaking and healing. CEL’s dynamic and relevant leadership development model identifies facilitation strategies that create empathetic spaces that foster speaking from the heart, listening with compassion, finding common ground, and ultimately promoting healing.

Leadership Practices for Healthy, Just, and Inclusive Community
February 27, 2018
1:00-4:30PM
$60

How is being a “holder of community” a vital role for leaders? What brings people together to collectively forge solutions to critical issues of our day?

This workshop considers those questions, as it explores the interface between leadership and community in a society both blessed and challenged by cultural difference. Using CEL’s framework for advancing social change in service of the common good, participants will explore leadership principles and practices that help build healthy, just, inclusive communities.
