• Hold the leader of the organization in trust; 
• Believe that ethical leadership is needed in perpetuity; and 
• Dedicate the necessary time, talent, and treasures to help move CEL’s mission forward?

We are having an open call for Board members.

This is an exciting time to be on team CEL! We are looking for a few individuals who are committed to our mission, engage in board governance, invest their time, resource, wisdom, and social capital to support the growth the organization.

Ideal candidates are:

• Authentic, reliable and genuinely dedicated to the Center’s mission and social justice values.
• Want board membership to be the main way to support the mission.
• Eager to engage in fundraising to help support the organization.
• Well-networked members of the community.
• Not afraid to take risks and are willing to stand alongside the Center in addressing issues that impact diversity and equity.
• Well-rounded, with a diverse background and unique skill sets.
• Ready and willing to share their time and energy to ensure the Center can support, and is supported by, our community.
